Frankie Muniz began his driving career under the shadow of his celebrity, competing in the Toyota Pro/Celebrity Race at Long Beach. After finishing 3^rdand 7^th respectively, Muniz obtained several opportunities in both driving and ownership. Frankie Muniz ultimately signed a two-year deal with Jensen Motorsport to compete in the 2006 Formula BMW USA season. Muniz was ultimately selected as one of 36 drivers to take his talents overseas in the annual Formula BMW World Final in Valencia, Spain.

A hiatus in racing ended in 2021, as Frankie Muniz made his stock car debut at Kevin Harvick’s Kern County Raceway. Notable growth in late models led him to the ARCA Menards Series, in which his first outing was the ARCA Menards Series Daytona Test in 2022. This test proved successful, as Frankie Muniz was tapped to drive the No. 30 Ford Mustang full-time for Rette Jones Racing in the 2023 ARCA Menards Series season. His 2023 efforts were highlighted with 1 top-5 and 11 top-10s, including a 4^th place points finish at the end of the season.

Frankie Muniz debuted in NASCAR through the Xfinity Series, making 2 starts in 2024.
