Keith McGee

Born in Truckee, California, Keith McGee has had a passion for racing from a young age. His career took a turn, however, when McGee moved from California to Alaska to serve in the United States Air Force, beginning in 2001 and serving for eight years. After his service to the United States, Keith was left with many uncertainties about his future, which led him to racing at a local go kart track in his residence of Eagle River, Alaska. Although his racing career began later than most, Keith McGee showed immediate success. After starting 115 local go karting events in 2017, McGee totaled 78 wins. McGee then progressed to the NASCAR Whelen All-American Series, finishing second in points along with being able to race at his home track of Alaska Raceway Park. Keith McGee climbed the motorsports ranks, ultimately arriving at the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series in 2021. As Keith McGee rolled off the grid for his debut in Richmond, he became the first Alaskan in NASCAR, along with the first disabled veteran driver in the sport. McGee’s last appearance in 2021 came at Talladega Superspeedway, being one of only five trucks to finish the race without damage, and securing a career best tenth place finish. Recently, Keith McGee tried a new type of racing, suiting up for the Pinty’s Truck Race on Dirt in 2022. This marked McGee’s first time on dirt throughout his racing career.

McGee comes from a family of athletes, with both his grandfather and father being involved in motorsports throughout their lives. Keith McGee’s mother is an athlete unlike any other, winning a gold medal in the 1988 Winter Olympics in Calgary after being diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis and being told she would never walk again. McGee’s mother is also a cancer survivor, leading him to utilize a form of pink during all of his races.

Reaume Brothers Racing really is a family. Being able to have a place to call home over 3,500 miles away is something special.
